The pool's annual fall closure for cleaning started August 29th

• The last swim for the 2016/2017 swim year was: Tuesday, August 22, 2017 @ 8:30PM - 10:00PM 
• The first swim for the 2017/2018 swim year will be: Saturday, September 16, 2017 @ 8:00AM - 9:30AM

2017-2018 Membership Package Attached

Attached is our new membership package. Our club came close to breaking even this year - so the fees for our club are staying the same, but Masters Swimming Manitoba has increased their fees by $3 to $36.00. This money is divided up as follows: 
• Swim Manitoba(SNM): $9 for insurance (up $1); 
• Swim Canada (SNC): $3.50; 
• Masters Swimming Canada (MSC): $21.50 (up $2); 
• Masters Swimming Manitoba (MSM): $2.00 
We still need new members for the upcoming year. Please give your membership form with a signed release and your cheque to Colleen on or before Saturday, September 30th, 2017.

Annual General Business Meeting:

AGM Saturday, October 21st, 2017 @ 10:00 AM in Frank Kennedy Centre - Classroom No. 133.

The breakfast will be potluck and members are asked to bring their favorite breakfast food to share with others attending the meeting. A sign up sheet for breakfast items has been posted on the bulletin board in the pool. Coffee will be provided by the club.

Bike, Blade, & Walk Schedule During Pool Closure:

Saturdays (Sept 5 & 12 ) @ 9:00 am @ Birds Hill Park

Meet at east beach parking lot. (A Provincial Park Pass is required).
After the bike, skate, walk we can swim in the lake, and then have breakfast in Oakbank.

Tuesdays (Aug 29, Sept 5, & 12) and Thursdays (Aug 31, Sept 7, & 14) @ 7:00 pm @ St. Norbert Community Centre Parking lot

We'll skate/bike Pembina Hwy, Turnbull Drive & Red River Drive and back.

Pop Sidwell - November 18, 2017

This fall the Mid-Can Masters will again host the Pop Sidwell Swim Meet. This year will be the 42nd year of the meet. The pool has been reserved for Saturday, November 18th so mark your calendars. This year the banquet following the meet will be held at Garbonzo's Pizza, 1792 Pembina Highway.
